Meet the Founder

A craftsman’s approach to sound

Theodore Pitzini is a mixing engineer and founder of Groove Shack Studio. Always in service of the song, his approach creates : balanced, tasteful mixes with a strong sense of personality.

His craft has been shaped by years of recording, producing and mixing, while drawing from the methods of engineers such as Craig Silvey, Tchad Blake and Craig Bauer.

With an eclectic musical background spanning pop, rock, blues and jazz, Theodore approaches every project individually. Attentive to both the music and the people behind it, he works like an artisan: finding the right sound, bringing out the best performances, and shaping each record around the artist.
